Music Makes Me Happy

As I start enjoying life again, with a new mindset, a new way of living, I realized how much I love listening to music and how over the last few years, had not let myself enjoy a lot of the tunes I used to LOVE in my ‘young at heart’ and pre-bad-decision-stuck-with-fucktard days.  I feel some days I will not need to write to portray my thoughts and feelings.  Instead I’ll post a song or a few to describe my mood and brain activity, that or cause, hungover.

Yes, my favorite band is 311 ( @311_Mama ).  I first heard them in the fall of 1995, at a dorm party at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.  Yes, I was also in the Air Force.  Hooyah!  Aim High!  Needless to say, 18 years later (stop trying to calculate my age!) I’m still listening and love them so much.  When I became the 500th Follower of one of my once fondly favored Tweeps @WanderinPoet (he blocked me due to a misconstrued tweet February 16, 2014 and then followed back May 14, 2014...'Sup), who is however, a brilliant individual and author of a blog - ‘Andy Kaufman’s Kavalkade Krew’, to celebrate my becoming his 500th Follower, he allowed me to choose a song that he could write a parody to.  Obviously, I chose a 311 song: ‘Down’ - Check it out!

Aside from 311, I want to share with you some of the bands/artists I’ve enjoyed over the years.  I’ll start from when I was younger, as a child, listening to the music my dad used to listen to until present – no true chronological order, mmkayy?  This should give you an idea of the kinds of songs/music I might post.
